Unfortunately, the Vietnamese we supported were dictators like Diem, Theiu, Ky, etc., who were guilty of war crimes.
They should not have been given asylum in the US because of this.
Early on they were collaborators with the French and Japanese.
Ho Chi Minh represented the patriots in Vietnam.
