Jennifer Lawrence speaks out in regard to Trump once again

Female?… Check.
Celebrity?… Check.

Why would anyone be listening to this woman on any topic. She’s not even all that attractive so far as I’m concerned.
Are you blind?

She’s partially right. MAGAts dont listen to celebrities. They are the stupid people. They are way too easy to scare for celebrities to relate infromative information on topics. Typically a celebrity will be in an add relating something factual. That tactic is useless on maga.
You have to be retarded to go seeking information from someone because they were in a movie you like.

Do Hollywood celebrities voicing an opinion you oppose trigger you?

Do you support silencing people who speak out against your Dear Leader?

Do you support eliminating the First Amendment?
Just pointing out the propaganda wars, like your own Pollywood.

That is why every single actor in Hollywood feigns concern about what is going on in Gaza, but could care less what is happening in say Nigeria or the Sudan or any other area where actual genocide is occurring around the world, even though more people may be dying there.

It is why those in Hollywood appear before Congress to testify about anything, really. Why are they there? It certainly is not because they have any more knowledge about a topic, rather, it is just their "Gretta" moment to gather public support for any given issue.

Jennifer Lawrence has spoken out about whether she intends to be vocal regarding her opinion on Donald Trump’s presidency and politics in general.

During Saturday’s episode of The New York Times’s The Interview podcast, host Lulu Garcia-Navarro asked The Hunger Games actor what her thoughts were on speaking out on the current administration after writing an op-ed following the president’s first time being elected into office.

She then later said,

“But as we’ve learned, election after election, celebrities do not make a difference whatsoever on who people vote for,” Lawrence said. “So then what am I doing? I’m just sharing my opinion on something that’s going to add fuel to a fire that’s ripping the country apart. We are so divided.”

She then later admitted that her initial opposition to Trump was based only on her support for abortion.

Has Hollywood learned a lesson here as Jennifer seems to have, or will they continue to act the fool in future elections?
Republicans buy movie tickets too.

Just ask Brie Larson.

There's lotsa fools out there and not just in Hollywood. People are entitled to their opinion, whatever it might be. But the rest of us are not obliged to pay any attention to it.

I read that interview, she later referred to actors losing much of their audience due to their divisive political opinions. I think THAT is her real reason for not going after Trump anymore. But hey, whatever it takes to get actors and entertainers to stick to what they do best and stay out of politics. :113:

No proof of that.

It doesn't really matter what she says or does at this stage. That is why part of her story is how she is making this all about herself and if she is a "victim" by getting less work than she might have gotten if she weren't "speaking out" so much.

Because we all know Hollywood totally rewards actors for keeping their mouths shut.... that's sarcasm folks.

Jennifer's real problem isn't that she talks about Trump. Her problem is that she loved being the cool girl and the hot and hip girl and now she's 35 years old. Plus she knows her fertility is limited so she has slowed her work schedule and had a couple kids. The last critical strike for her is that her ability to select projects aside from the franchise stuff she has been in has been pure shit.

She was absolutely great in "No Hard Feelings" but literally one of the running jokes in the movie (and she leaned into it and it worked well) was the sliding scale about her passable age for being the "friend" of the college bound young man.

She is supposed to have just had her second child. Given the nature of her roles she will need some time to get back into the sort of shape that gets her roles.

That realistically puts her at 37 years old and hoping that she can compete with every other younger woman in the world.

Acting is quite cruel in this way, especially with women but she was the beneficiary of all this when she was younger and also did it to younger actresses before her. Other actresses it is happening to would be Natalie Portman, and Scarlett Johansson.

You are talking about a trio of women that have had major box office numbers and were in their 20's considered some of the most beautiful women in the world.

But there's always new 20 year old women in the world who want what they have and are ready to have their time in the light.

On top of this these women, right or wrong tend to "speak out" a bit more about the "exploitation" they suffered when they were young and how it shouldn't be allowed to continue. What they really mean is that all the roles they grabbed that might have been a bit "creepy" but made them stars shouldn't be grabbed by those younger actresses and the projects shouldn't exist anymore. Really that is a way of pulling up the ladder from new actresses. Lost in Translation where a young Scarlett spent all her time hanging out with Bill Murry or Leon: The Professional where Natalie Portman looked like fuel for pedos were how they made their leap to stardom.

So they don't just "speak out" about politics. They want the types of roles and actions they took to become stars to be "reformed". They want to stop doing the sort of work they previously undertook because now it is "degrading" which is just code for no one wants to hire them for it.

In Natalie Portman's new project she plays a woman who "bravely" leaves her husband to build a life as a woman in her "not 40's" even when she is over 40. Her cool co-star is Mikey Madison. Of course Portman would love to say that a movie like Anora is degrading and Hollywood should "do better" but no one would ever hire her for that type of roll. They hire Madison instead.

All of this is just massive sour grapes. They have to make the story about them and speaking out because in reality no one wants to pay attention to them anymore. They were the new hotness and now they are the old notness.

Oh yeah, none at all. LOL What you don't get TV reception in your cave?
So dumb. Is everything black or white to you?

Can’t fix stupid.

I know you watch Fox News all day everyday.

I love hearing the opinions of high school dropouts on national affairs.
