True. I worry about the future of Puerto Rico. As it is they pay taxes and get pretty much nothing in return from the U.S., and it's because they are too stubborn to elect politicians that try to lobby for statehood. In some ways I understand, because look at Hawaii and what happened to their native culture. On the other hand, eventually they have to figure out a way to stop the bleeding...

THE SUPREME COURT RULED IN THE EARLY 1900's THAT WE PUERTO RICANS , ARE DARK SKINNED STUMP JUMPERS , WHO WILL NOT APPRECIATE A CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT LIKE THE ONE IN THE MAINLAND, AND WHO LIKE TO MARRY BLACKS.

SO THERE , THEY PAY LIP SERVICE TO THE NOTION , KNOWING FULL WELL THAT THE SCOTUS MADE AN EXEMPTION WHEN IT CAME TO PUERTO RICO - WE ARE AN "UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY" POPULATED BY SECOND OR THIRD CLASS US CITIZENS.
