Scholz also said in a video message on Feb. 14 that the talks between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin came as no surprise, but that the events “require a clear, fast and decisive positioning of Europe”: “Nothing about Ukraine without Ukrainians and nothing about Europe without Europeans.”

Putin and Trump had a phone conversation on February 12 and discussed, among other things, the situation in Ukraine. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the parties agreed that they will continue bilateral contacts and will focus on a separate meeting. Peskov said in an interview with Channel One on 12 February that Washington was the main interlocutor for Moscow in the negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.

The governments, fearing population decline that threatens their social safety net, have imported hordes of unvetted, wretched people from the Middle East, whose culture is antithetical to that of Western Europe, and they are causing massive problems, while not accomplishing what the "Leaders" had hoped - adding to the roles of productive taxpayers.

The common citizenry pays the price for this failed gamble with increasing crime and social unrest, but they are literally persecuted for speaking out against it. Opposing views are at best silenced, and at worst result in fines, incarcerations, and other penalties.
