Japan elects first-ever female prime minister...and she's based AF

China is threatening all her neighbors and seizing islands all over the place to make a claim it is Chinese waters. And where they can't seize an island, they make a fake one, they are building a huge navy and an invasion force for Taiwan and threatening everyone about it.

They are?

Okay, let's look at that one.

Taiwan- Calls itself the Republic of China, 97% of it's population is Han Chinese (compared to China itself, where that number is only 91%), speaks Mandarin, writes in Traditional Hanzi... this is a completely Chinese issue.

As for the island in the South CHINA Sea, again, not an issue, really.

When Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines were Colonial territories, none of those powers claimed those Islands. They all recognized that they were part of the territory of the Qing Empire.

Conversely, when the Republic of China toppled the Qing, the world recognized China's claims to the Islands (one that Taiwan, the "Republic of China", still maintains to this day).

On the other hand, China would probably be justified in intervening in Myanmar right now. The place is a mess and some of that chaos is leaking across China's border. Yet, they aren't.

Meanwhile, as much as Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan whine about China, they are its largest trading partners after the US.

You made an overall blanket statement, which was..

Well, that's not true. China has decent relations with Russia, Mongolia, and North Korea... all of which are neighbors.

They have a good relationship with Burma, being one of the few governments willing to work with the ruling Junta and even encouraging them to hold elections.

They have perpetual squabbles with India about a border that none of them can get to because it's so high up in the mountains, but they are partners with the BRICS

So the only "Neighbors" they are having issues with are Vietnam, Taiwan, and the Philippines. Oh, wait, but those are also their 5th and 4th best trading partners.

you are an idiot

Your concession is duly noted.

Sometimes, you have to learn to think, just because someone in power tells you other people are your "enemy", doesn't make it so.

Because more often than not, they are the ones making your life miserable.
you are beyond stupid, China is a threat and because you have a Chinese family member you disagree, retarded as hell.

How is China a threat?

I mean, they have nukes, but everyone has nukes.

They have a decent sized army, but they haven't gone to war with anyone since 1979.
they are making threats and building up their forces and again causing havoc in the south China sea. I guess attacking weaker neighbors s ok with you as long as it isn't you right?

How many of these polishing the apple posts do you have to write each day to earn your dinner?

I think it's kind of absurd to make a big deal about some little Islands that are so small, the Chinese have to dump rocks on them to have somewhere to stand.

But they are better off than the Filipinos. They can't even move rocks, so they had to beach an old freighter so their guys will have somewhere to stand.

As a practical matter, though, this isn't an issue. The Western Powers in the Colonial Period recognized those Islands as the property of China, both during the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.

The British, French, and Americans didn't lay claim to them before their former colonies became Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, respectively. They recognized China's claim to them.

That's why they call it the "South China Sea" and not the "West Philippine Sea" or the "East Vietnam Sea".

Final point. Taiwan, which claims to be the "Republic of China", also claims these Islands.

The Eagle has landed.

Here in Tokyo, he’ll have the opportunity to meet with Sanae Takaichi, a staunch conservative and protege of the late Shinzo Abe, who became Japan’s first female prime minister this month.

Trump is likely to highlight Japan’s commitment to invest $550 billion in the US. He is also expected to meet with Japan’s emperor, visit with US troops, and meet Japanese business leaders during the trip.

She's been compared to Margaret Thatcher and Donald Trump.

She's pro-Japan, and wants the illegals out.

I liked that she specifically mentioned getting rid of the Muslims. Hungary and Poland refused to accept them and finally, someone else has the intelligence to recognize what a danger having them in their nation is. Good for her. I hope her entire term is successful.
