Inflation is coming down more slowly than we wanted because it had a chance to feed on itself (higher prices for raw materials and goods), but it's coming down. The Fed can decrease the size of its increases, and that's what we want. That's the first step.

Once global supply chains collapsed in the face of exploding demand, while we were still pumping the QE, and while the Fed fell asleep at the switch, this nasty pop was inevitable. Hopefully we're on the back end of this for sure now.

Leave the military and social security, for the ones that paid into it. Also Medicare people paid for it. But everything else 50% cut across the board. Cut our senator and congress salaries in half. Stop their pensions for life and make them use the Medicare system that the elderly has to use. Cut the money to all the foreign countries. Then give the American workers their money back.
