Trump said, they had to fight, or they wouldn't have a country.

That's far different than somebody saying you have to fight, for your right to party.

The irony of their stopping the count, is that congress reacted to it by dropping their objections and delays to counting the votes, thereby actually accelerating the counting of electoral votes, and the final count of 306 for Biden and 232 for Trump.
