The Democratic Party has a real gaggle of bad geese leading them:
Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden, two who claim to be Roman Catholics, both denied Communion by RCC Bishops for violating their faith. Biden is, in the words of a US Senator, a "pathological liar". Very few people believe anything Pelosi says.
Chuck Schumer. Senate Majority leader, who went to the Supreme Court and threatened 2 SC justices with harm because of the way they voted on a case
Merrick Garland, the Atty General who refused to enforce the Federal law that prohibits demonstrations at the home of SC justices and told his FBI agents to
label parents who protested at school board meetings as terrorists. Garland's FBI agents contacted Twitter executives and told them which posters to ban and censor.
The January 6 Committee did an admirable job of exposing the noxious trumpery the Loser had been hellbent on hiding, largely due to the sworn testimony of so many patriotic Republican officeholders and Trump regime insiders, as well as court adjudications - even by his own appointees.
What is an important testament to the success of the Committee's vital investigative mission is the reaction of the Republican Senate leadership. They are not attempting the customary hyper-partisan knee-jerk excuses and diversionary ploys. They know the Loser has been nailed by the irrefutable evidence, but are also undoubtedly grateful to Democrats for doing their work for them so capably, exposing a Loser that would have cost the GOP dearly yet again - as he did in 2018, 2020, and 2022, had he managed to remain viable for the 2024 nomination. His mega-donors and media promoters who have dumped him in reaction to the exposés are contributing more shovelfuls of dirt on his smarmy gob.
The Loser will persist in lying about and brooding over his 2020 defeat, and his hardcore lickspittles will still fester at his grievance jamborees, but he will no longer be an authoritarian threat to democracy.
He will continue to enjoy the public spotlight, thanks to his absconding with classified government documents, litigation regarding his efforts to pervert the democratic will in Georgia, his operation's corruption in New York, the final release of his tax returns he had so often promised to share, etc., etc. etc.
He certainly won't skulk off to a well-deserved oblivion.
Th Loser will rage, rage against the sterilizing
light being shone into the dark recesses of trumpery.
It's a sordid spectacle, indeed.
