OTOH, if I want to stir up shit and create MAGA outrage, I can create and post a fake video on X or TikTok (no censorship) where the operative claims to be a teacher grooming children.

So no, I don't believe for a second that this video isn't a fake. No pedophile is posting videos on social media saying "Hi, I'm a pedophile". That would be stooopid.

You don’t believe it but your best proof is calling James O’Keefe a “convicted liar”. Convicted means you are guilty of a criminal offense. When did lying become a criminal offense? Did he lie under oath (perjury) like Bill Clinton?

James O'Keefe has no record of committing perjury, fraud or making false statements or any crime specifically for 'lying.'

O'Keefe's sleazy little hit pieces are always staged and totally fake. His entire career is built on it.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of right wing fools willing to fall easily for this sort of faked trash. They never check the claims, or investigate them.

It's just buy the BS from a proven fraudster at face value and pretend it's real.

A pathetic retreat. The faked video that made O'Keefe a star in right wing world was faked. Indeed, it was faked in a very obvious way.

But Fox went with it, and when exposed, they hid behind a claim that they were just passing on what someone else claimed (a standard Fox dodge when caught promoting lies from right wing media as "fact").

The greatest fake of all time was Dan Rather bringing the National Guard Records of President Bush from 1972 to CBS to run with as part of his own October Surprise. The problem was that the documents were produced using Microsoft fonts not available until the late 1980s. Then you had CBS 60 minutes redacting the Kamala Harris interview and NBC redacting the George Zimmerman call to 911. Jayson Blair and the New York Times took fakeness to a new level.
