Oh, I believe it is REAL and that there are in FACT some teachers out there that do a disservice to the school system......absolutely.
And those teachers should be shame, fired, and charged if they commit illegal activities.

In my 42 years of teaching, I had one teacher that was said to be seducing his female track/cross country athletes. It was never proven, and the girls involved denied any such activity, even though many of us believe it happened.

Other than that, I believe that there are MANY right wing public education haters that continue to claim that things like this happen on a daily basis at every public school.

Yes, I despise this kind of talk, because it is simply not true, but it is SO POPULAR to jump on that fake talk and run down ALL public school teachers.

How about we just let the students use their phones to record the classroom?

Designate 4-5 students to place their camera phones on the perimeter of the classroom covering every possible angle, and if something happens then one of the 4-5 phones would certainly capture the nefarious event or the great teaching

The students won’t be handle their phones as they would be placed on the perimeter and the COST to the schools would be Zero.
