We have no idea who the Dem will be, all the “front runners” now will be toast by the end of the year.
There are a lot of signs there is trouble on the horizon for the economy, which only makes sense considering we are about to set a record for the longest period of economic expansion in the history of the country. Our economy was designed to fail/correct itself on a regular interval, and we are past that and it will only be held off for so long.
Good post. Yeah, that seems to be how Capitalism works. But I have to wonder if it's absolutely necessary that we fail in order to rebuild and make it better?
I think that's where Bush II went wrong. He (and most other people) knew that we were about to go into a recession but he (and we) didn't know it would be
that bad.
He could have prevented it, IMO. It would have met a lost of resistance and it would have been difficult, but it could have been done.
I think Trump really does understand the ebb and flow of our economic system and that he is intent on not letting 2007 happen again.
Of course, we're not the world economy but we're a big part of it.
