Perhaps you recall this brilliant exposition by a woke professor:

1. "Prof Seeks Ideas on How to Advance Social Justice in Math Textbooks
If John has ten dollars, and I take eight of his dollars and give them to Jane, how much less oppressed is Jane?

The College Fix reports:

Math professor soliciting ideas for ‘#socialjustice’ textbook content

Chad Topaz was one of the professors at the center of the uproar against Abigail Thompson, a math professor at the University of California, Davis, who recently wrote in opposition to required “diversity statements” in academia. Thompson derided the practice of diversity statements, referring to them as “using a political test as a screen for job applicants.”

Topaz, a mathematics professor at Williams College, played a prominent role in marshaling opposition to Thompson, telling activists to bombard UC Davis with “public shame,” announcing that he would urge his graduate students and undergrads to avoid applying to the institution, and offering a letter template for activists to mail into the American Mathematical Society, where Thompson is a vice president and in whose journal the essay appeared.

On Monday of this week, Topaz was further engaged in social justice activism, telling his followers on Twitter that he was potentially in line to receive an offer “to join the editorial board of a particular math book series,” that he would only do so as a means to “advance #socialjustice,” and that he was interested in fielding suggestions to that effect."

2. Now we have proof.....PROOF!....that Leftist media has already succumbed:

"A WaPo columnist, NYT editorial board member, and MSNBC host walk into a math class…
...a Tweet by Washington Post columnist Mekita Rivas. The Tweet, which lambasted billionaire Mike Bloomberg for wasting money on a presidential campaign when he could have helped every American to their share of the riches, had some mathematical challenges.

anyone with a calculator or recollections of 3rd grade math class will tell you, Rivas was off."
A WaPo columnist, NYT editorial board member, and MSNBC host walk into a math class…

"Keep in mind, this isn’t a random person making a mental error. This is a blue-checkmark, nationally published journalist whose opinions hold sway over the radical progressive masses. It’s no wonder they seem to think Joe Biden’s outrageously expensive proposed policies don’t go far enough or that Bernie Sanders is right that billionaires can pay for everything, leaving the rest of us soaking up million-dollar checks every month. "
Ibid.

"...whose opinions hold sway over the radical progressive masses..."

Millions vote Democrat......clearly that inadvertence is due to the schools and the media.

As long as the Democrats/Liberals control the schools and the media, far too often, the 'm' in 'masses' is silent.

If John has ten dollars, and I take eight of his dollars and give them to Jane, how much less oppressed is Jane?

No wonder our kids are confused. This is a non sequitur: Whether Jane is oppressed and to what degree doesn't even enter into the equation much less as a measure by how many dollars she has, nor could it be measured without a reference.

Intelligent children will look at this as part of the idiocrasy, reject it as nonsensical and get a failing grade.

PC children, knowing what answer they are EXPECTED to give, will answer as they were trained and get a passing grade.

Therefore, those that think will fail and not advance in society, while the lemmings will be rewarded.

BTW, if Bloomberg had given 1 million dollars to each person making or worth less than a million dollars, he would be no farther ahead, but would have changed the lives of 200 million people, cancelled out all student loan and credit card debt and would have revolutionized and advanced the nation.

If you think Bloomberg was running for the purpose of actually scoring the nomination, I'll sell you that Brooklyn Bridge.

You STILL can't figure out that the OP was about how stupid the Leftist media is???

Maybe 'cause you're about as stupid.

You're in the same boat with Brian Williams and Mara Gay, huh?

MSNBC’s Brian Williams reads a tweet: "Bloomberg spent $500 million on ads. U.S. Population, 327 million. He could have given each American $1 million"

NYT Editorial Board Member Mara Gay: “It’s an incredible way of putting it. It’s true. It’s disturbing”

It's $1.53 per person

Gads, you're a dunce.
