To give us time to shoot down their missiles. As im sure youve noticed, our procedures keep our ships from ever being sunk. If we intend to land troops, we take out any active missile site beforehand.

Actually, it's so we're out of range of most of their missiles used to date. They're probably still holding back any actual anti-ship missiles

Iran wants a nuke. They have actively tried to build one for YEARS. They WILL eventually succeed. You will not like our world once that happens, but youre blinded by partisan politics, so you refuse to acknowledge whats coming.

I dont think they have many drones and missiles at this point. Even if they did, it wouldnt stop the US military. They wouldnt even slow us down. We would sweep the entire country of Iran within weeks.
