For the first two years of the Obama administration, the 111th Congress, the Democrat’s held control over the Senate and the House of Representatives. Listening to President Obama no one with a casual understanding and knowledge of politics would ever imagine that Obama was given a dominate majority and complicit Congress that passed the vast majority of his legislative agenda.
During the time Democrats held control over Congress Obama signed legislation with Orwellian names like: American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment Act, Small Business Jobs and Credit Act, Worker, Homeownership, and Business Assistance Act—the list of the legislative successes of this administration are long. (111th United States Congress - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
Where are the results of these policies? In the perverted logic of the left it’s as if these things never happened. The first two years of President Obama’s presidency didn’t happen.
Well, unfortunately for Obama the American people judge him by the results not the excuses.
“ A new low of 26% of Americans approve of President Barack Obama's handling of the economy, down 11 percentage points since Gallup last measured it in mid-May and well below his previous low of 35% in November 2010.” (New Low of 26% Approve of Obama on the Economy)
