Time will tell but I thought we should have pressured China decades ago when they sold us bad sheet rock, lead in toys and so on, they are not to be trusted and our country needs to stop their shady practices and make rules on who we do business with in China and what we import, tariffs help us in that regard.

Hes doing it the hard way. I dont disagree that China is a potential risk. But trump is a current risk.. The way to guard against China is to build alliances. Many countries now see the US as a problem not China. Its not terminal but its not hetting any better.

Trump is a risk for what? Hurting your feelings? He just concluded a peace treaty, is working on tariffs, something no other president has had the balls to do, we aren’t dying in inflation here, people have jobs, we are doing fine.

The only people that are not doing fine are people that are in our country illegally, and far left wing hate and war mongers.

We need the tariffs and I hope it gets done but it takes time and China doesn’t know how to react to countries standing up to them, and your country won’t even stand up for their own.
