Life imitates art! Rewatch Citizen Kane this week. You know the story. A rich megalomaniac seeks public office. Although he has never held elective office, he uses his money, power and influence to persuade voters to support him. He is all flash. In the midst of his campaign, he promises a special prosecutor to indict, try and convict his opponent.

Then the other shoe drops. A scandal involving a woman. His candidacy is adrift and loses.

Donald J. Trump, Charles Foster Kane. It is all too scary.
