Rains on the way, some predicted to be very heavy. That whole area is pretty much silt, probably from the Grand canyon. Mudslides are the next big worry. After the fires, my first inclination was they will have landslides/mudslides as a result of the fires.

On another front, Edgar Cayce predicted in the 20's and 30's many things, one of which was California sliding into the sea...................He also predicted something would happen regarding the climate..........Hmmm.

It will be interesting to see if the residents of that state learn anything from this experience. I'm not holding my breath.
It is difficult to learn from one’s mistakes when one refuses to even see that they were mistakes.

If there are mudslides, maybe the liberal white flighters won't rebuild in the burbs, and instead move back to tenements in South Central that they left to move away from?

I guess it’s a good thing a lot of them have already been evacuated….

It's like that bunch of rank nut-job Trump was talking too.....They went away feeling that they are doing everything 100% correctly.

It's good Trump brought them to task for the country to see just how retarded they are when they reacted.....It will pay dividends when Trump attaches steel cables instead of strings on any monies sent there.

Besides homeowners being more vigilant about trimming their vegetation around the house, what is it you'd like residents to learn?

Impose voter ID in California and all this leftist bullshit stops... the elections in CA are dirty... thousands of illegals voting in every district... the unions counting the ballots and setting up ballot centers...
Clean it up California...

They continue to build in places they shouldn't.

The views from these hillsides are really splendid ... overlooks on Malibu Beach will always attract attention ... and expensive homes ... why would the property owners there right on the beach care if their house burns down? ... the building is cheap in comparison to the lot ...

The roads are in place ... easier to re-build ... burn baby burn ...
