But that's a lie. El Salvador has an extradition treaty with the US, signed in 1911 and amended in 2000. It allows for El Salvadorian nationals to be extradited back to the US if they face criminal charges.

Garcia isn't facing criminal charges in the US.

Not every case is the same. Not every illegal comes here simply for the sake of taking advantage of us, some are actually fleeing violence and hardship in their home countries. If someone legitimately needs asylum, and our government decides it will deport them in the middle of their proceedings, what does that say about us?
