It's Official: Bukele will NOT Release El Salvadoran Citizen Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States

But you'd expect the guard to admit it if it were true?

Who needs courts when you can just have the cops declare people criminals, right?
marener those cops down there know exactly who those asswipes are...the people of El Salvador are not afraid of Bukale but they were scared of the gangs...he did something about it.....level 4 travel advisory to a level 1 in what 4 years?....

Flushing toilet makes everybody safer. I don't give a rat's ass where the shit goes after that.
Discarding civil rights doesn't make everybody safer. It can feel safer, until you realize that sometimes you might need those civil rights.

This whole case is asshattery of the highest order. Bring the guy back home, man.

I didn't vote for this shit.
Sure you did. Trump was pretty darned explicit that this was what he was going to do.

You just weren't paying attention.

YOu are like a German who claims he had no idea Hitler would do the stuff he did even though he clearly spelled it out in Mein Kampf.

Did she publish any documents, or are we going based on her statements? Hard proof is preferable. People can say anything.
As I stated, I'll go with the AG's word on this. I'm sure that the left can finds some argument to take to court and compel her to send those documents to you, but honestly, I get tired of the one way street of not trusting GOP when in office, and not questioning the Democrats when in office.

Write her a letter and demand to see the proof. The issue is resolved for Me.

He is not now, nor has he ever been, a citizen of the United States. He was deported as he should have been.

No one has discarded civil rights with the exception of the last regime.

What was that quote by Benjamin Franklin?

"Those who are willing to sacrifice liberty for temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."

(I'm pretty sure I butchered that.)

Not my monkeys and not my circus.

But apparently the El Salvador President is a hero to his people. They love him. He has done lots of good things for his country. His people love and admire him.
a politician who actually did something about crime......pretty rare in this country...

No doubt that discarding civil liberties makes most people safer.

Is that what you want?
I'm a natural born citizen of the USA. Our laws are different. Our culture is different and our laws are different.

Citizenship has its rewards, responsibilities, and requirements.

I do not have enough hubris to tell others how to make their laws in another country. They are doing what works for them in their culture. Since I am not a citizen of El Salvador I have no voice in El Salvador. I do know what others who have been to El Salvador have said.
I'm inclined to believe their President.

And I also believe that a few of the people locked up in prison are not sufficiently guilty of crimes as to warrant being there. But again....El Salvador is not my home.

I am an American citizen and to this day none of my civil rights have been discarded. I do not concern myself with the civil rights of illegal thugs and question if they have any.

I doubt he is innocent. However when the SCOTUS votes unanimously to return this dude, the president should pay attention. He needs them in his corner.
However, I'm going to go back and reread the order they wrote, just so I don't go down a rabbit hole.

If you can't respect the liberties of someone here illegally, how can you be trusted to respect the liberties of those that are?

Of course. Deport illegals, close the border, deport violent gangmembers and such.

Yes, I'm quite well aware of that. But deporting people who haven't committed any actionable crimes by mistake and without due process? I didn't vote for that. I trusted Trump to carry out the process in good faith. But what I see is blind disregard for the rule of law.
all those MS-13 gang members they rounded up im sure they were just model citizens who like to use fear and violence to intimidate their fellow law abiding citizens...**** them...
