A majority of US voters and more importantly most independents think Biden was a better president and had a better economy than Trump. Blue collar jobs shrunk last year, job openings plummeted, tariff nonsense, prices are still going up and Trump is running around bulldozing buildings, renaming things and creating havoc in the world. All of that money didn’t need to be taken out of each of our tax dollars. Despite what you have been told, not all the tariff revenue came from consumers and importers. Exporters and foreign manufacturers made some concessions which contributed as well. In effect, they paid a portion of the bill for us.

I didn’t say it was used for tax relief. I have pointed this out many times before, but I’ll try again. Democrats are fully on board with raising taxes. They always are. If we raise taxes 2% across the board, everybody pays the full 2%. Even if you consider tariffs a tax, there is no reasonable person that can deny that foreign exporters and manufacturers have contributed to the tariffs revenue by lowering prices or making other concessions to assist the importer who physically pays the tariffs. That is an undeniable fact. Even if they indirectly only accounted for 25% of the revenue, that means the American people only paid for a 1.5% increase instead of 2%, which would be the Democrats plan. So explain to me again why it is better for the people to raise their taxes 2% instead of 1.5%? Let me guess, it is the “regressive” argument, meaning, it isn’t fair that everyone pays for the increase, only the “rich” should be paying. You guys are a broken record and have zero common sense.

There is absolutely nothing Trump could to do “deliver” to people like you short of taking all the money from “rich” people and hanging them in public, providing “free” everything, removing our border and deporting every white family in the US. That might do it, but I’m not certain.
