Given that it was already 7 PM in Great Britain, when it was 1:00 pm in the USA, and Biden was on his way to dinner with the Queen, it’s hardly surprising they put the lid on the press conference at that time.

When your headline said the disaster that was that is unfolding, I assumed you meant the recent shooting of 20 people. But no this is your obsession with refugees crossing the border. This is not a disaster.

What is unfolding at the border is a cleanup of the four years of unmitigated chaos and destruction of the refugee system on the southern border by the Trump administration.

Unless you’re the owner of a for-profit prison company getting $700 a day to keep a refugee locked up in a prison camp, there is absolutely no benefit to the American public to be locking people up for a misdemeanor.
