Because that is the only thing you konservatives seem to understand. According to YOU, everything negative that happened during the Obama administrationis placed on his shoulders, when I'm conversing with such dense people, like you, I try to keep it on a level you can understand. Using konservative logic, if a president is blamed for unemployment rates going up, then a president is responsible for the rates going down. The truth, though, is that US presidents can only help by creating an environment for businesses to prosper. Under Obama, Corporations prospered big time. The wealth gap bettered the rich and the poor widened considerably ; the Republicans ought to be happy about that. Obama played their game and they are still mad at him for having the audacity to be the first Black president. How can he receive "credit" for "brining the unemployment rate down" when according to you "Obama doesn't hire people - businesses do"?So, Obama can't be blamed for inheriting something created by Bush but as I said he does get credit for gradually brining the unemployment rate down.
See the contradiction there? Still struggling with this?
Consider this:
- Corporate profits have risen under Obama more than any other president
- The stock market has soared 14.72%/year under Obama, second only to Clinton -- which should be a big deal since 2/3 of people (not just the upper class) have a 401K or similar investment vehicle dependent upon corporate profits and stock market performance"
- "The platform is the inverse of what has actually worked to stimulate economic growth
- The recommended platform tax policy is bad for velocity, and will stagnate the economy
- Repealing the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) will have a negative economic impact because it will force non-wealthy individuals to spend a higher percentage of income on health care rather than expansionary products and services
- Economic disaster happens in America when wealth is concentrated at the top, and we are at an all time high for wealth concentration. There is nothing in the platform which addresses this issue."
