Reminds me of a story I heardabout Eric Gates.....in the dressing room during half time Bobby Robson laid into Gatesy for taking no ******* notice of him screaming at him to get further up the pitch...."didn't you hear me Lad?I almost bust me fuckin' lungs shoutin' at ye".
Gates replied "yes I heard you gaffer, but you were shouting at ******* Giggsy, I'm Gatesy".Eric Gates told that story, it had me in stitches.

LOL...he was a great little player Gates. Thought he was better than Mariner who I always thought was a bit of a show pony...
