You know that. I know that. But people who now allow somebody like AOC to achieve top leadership in the Democrat Party are also likely to see Kamala as a credible candidate to govern California.

Shapiro is a very book bright person, don't sell him short. Right out of law school he went to work for then Rep Joe Hoeffel in 1998. Then got elected to the state house in 2004, 2011 elected county commissioner in Montgomery county PA. In 2011 Hoeffel was a county commissioner and was going to run again and to make a long story short Shapiro backed doored him and got elected in 2011. Was elected state AG in 2016 and 2020. Gov in 2022. Never been in a courtroom trying a case. Also been very fortunate in having lackluster or totally dimbulb GOP opposition. Hoeffel said in an interview several years ago 'loyalty is not in Josh's vocabulary.

What's a "far left policy" of his?

I have no idea. I am retired and doing my own thing, no kind of activist, not on any mailing list or email list. I get nothing from either party. I routinely turn down requests from Right and Left, that make it to my email, then tell outlook to block sender.

My plan is to watch who these idiots put forth, keep reading the news, and when the time comes, pull the lever for the one that seem like might do the least damage to the country, at the time. There certainly is no savior out there. There is nobody worthy of getting behind. If the far right fails to instigate a shooting civil war, we will get a chance to swing the pendulum back toward the center, fully figuring, the far left if given a chance will move it way, too far, past center, again. If the far right does get it's shooting war, I plan to sit it out, unless somebody shoots at me or mine, forcing me to shoot them, until no longer a threat.
