Israel's new Defense Minister

Proving once again that Israel is serious about peace new Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman supports beheading Palestinians and lives in an illegal West Bank settlement.

that ought to help the peace process

Ha Ha! Looks like you don't like terrorists getting a taste of their own medicine. I don't see anybody in team Pali upset over all the beheading and savagery that has been happening by Islamist animals.
again, you prove that there is nothing israel can do that you won't rationalize away
Talk to me when Israel actually beheads someone. They don't even have a death penalty, moron.
not for israelis
On the other hand there's plenty of incidents by Muslims and Arabs involving beheading and other acts of barbarism and savagery. Why don't you post your objection to those, Achmed?
rationalize away

Not for anyone, except Eichman. Palestinian terrorists who did not blow themselves up, were always kept alive.

montelatici, et al,

What are you implying?

he seems like a peace loving man. i mean when an idf soldier was caught on tape executing a prisoner he was quick to jump in - and support the soldier.

He is indeed a peace loving man. He will dump Nutandyahoo's damn Zionist agenda of peace offerings, security fence & land concessions keeping Palestinians captives in Israel & the Pali's will then be treated with the Arab country love, justice & respect thay are so well accustomed to --- and so well deserve. History has proven king Hussein was right. LET THERE BE PEACE ALREADY!

I agree, the Israelis should enfranchise the Palestinians as Hussein did. LET THERE BE PEACE ALREADY!
'Atta boy! Finally you are making sense. After all, Black September did indeed result in the only lasting peace from Palestinians. LET THERE BE PEACE ALREADY!
Give the Palestinians the vote like Hussein did! LET THERE BE PEACE ALREADY!
(COMMENT)

The Palestinians were "empowered"to vote in April 1950 (which they did); they were "empowered" in 1988, to exercise self-determination (which they did), and they were empowered to vote in 2006 (which they did); and finally they are empowered to vote now --- which they cannot seem to organize.

The Arab-Israelis, like all other Israelis, are empowered to elect the Knesset in every four-year term; in a multi-party system based on coalition governments percentages. It is Arab Palestinians that prevent Arab Palestinians from voting. This disenfranchisement is to insure the continuation of the conflict.

Most Respectfully,
R

Roughly 75% Palestinians under Israeli rule and control are not permitted to vote for the Government they are ruled by.

Just one shameless lie after another. The Palestinians who voted for Hamas in 2006 were not under Israeli rule. It never stops with you, does it?

Gaza is under complete Israeli control. Borders, air space, territorial sea, tax collection. It is about as sovereign a vote as a vote taken by Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto.

montelatici, et al,

I think we have miscommunicated something here. I think I said: "Arab-Israelis, like all other Israelis." You are using some other standard.

Roughly 75% Palestinians under Israeli rule and control are not permitted to vote for the Government they are ruled by.
(COMMENT)

My intention was to communicate that:

Election Day

All citizens aged 18 or older on election day are eligible to vote. Election day is a holiday in order to enable all to participate. Soldiers on active duty vote in special polling stations in their units. Special arrangements have also been made for prison inmates to vote, as well as for those confined to hospital.

Israeli law does not provide for absentee ballots, and voting takes place only on Israeli soil. The sole exceptions are Israeli citizens serving on Israeli ships and in Israeli embassies and consulates abroad.

Like most nations in the world, one must hold citizenship in order to vote. Obviously, and Arab-Israeli (implying citizenship in Israel) would be able to vote in domestic Israeli elections. In contrast, non-citizens of Israel would not hold the same rights. This is much the same for Arab League members.

what are you trying to convey?

montelatici, et al,

OK, let's look at the implications here.

Gaza is under complete Israeli control. Borders, air space, territorial sea, tax collection. It is about as sovereign a vote as a vote taken by Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto.
(QUESTIONS]

There is nothing here that changed from 2006. If they were able to vote in 2006, then they can vote today.

You have mentioned issues that are subject to the Oslo Accords and the "Permanent Status of Negotiations." If there is a dispute, then the Arab-Palestinian needs to avail itself of the "Disputed Resolution Processes" that they Arab-Palestinians agreed to in 1993/1995.

The Arab-Palestinians shouldn't whine about outcomes which they (themselves) contributed to and intentionally ignore the established processes to repair.

There is no government that controls Gaza except the Israeli Government, it controls the territory. The blacks could vote in the Bantustans, but the Republic of South Africa controlled the territory.

So when you said the Palestinians couldn't vote, it was a lie, because they did hold an election in 2006, and according to all international standards it was valid, which resulted in the Palestinians voting for a terrorist group as their leaders.

They do not have the right to vote for the government of the sovereign state that rules them. I never said they didn't vote.

No. I said that Palestinians cannot vote for the regime that rules them. You are, as usual, a pathological liar. When you move your lips you lie.

The Pal'istanians obviously can't vote to throw out the Islamist theocratic dictators that rule. It's silly to think that either Hamas or Arafat II are going to step aside when the UNRWA welfare fraud is such a cash camel.

Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, better known to the world as Nikolai Lenin, once said that “no dictatorship of the proletariat is to be thought of without terror and violence.” That was his restatement regarding the workings of retrograde Islamist societies.

For all your whining about the failures and incompetencies of islamist throwbacks, you mirror the Islamist politburo mouthpieces who can do nothing but offer excuses for their own ineptitudes. You share their failings and cheap excuses.

Calm down, Sasquatch, you are contradicting yourself in your own sentence, and whining about being caught in a lie. You're the one who lied when you said 75% of the Palestinians cannot vote for their own govt. or regime or whatever the fuck and here we have an election that shows they voted for an Islamist terrorist regime named Hamas in 2006.

Do you think the insults and accusations of a mentally ill Jew hating Internet troll affect me? ha ha ha.

The rulers are the Israeli Jews. And for once you are right Hollow Hollie, the Jew rulers can't be voted out by the Christians and Muslims because most are not allowed to vote for their rulers.
