※→ et al,

So now, the fact that the Sunni's and the Shia are at odds with each other is now the fault of Israel... How ridiculous. This struggle has to do with a 7th Century decision:

• Sunnis chose Abu Bakr as successor...
• Shia chose Ali bin Abu Talib as successor...

They have been fighting this dispute every since --- more than a millennium. Fighting is the preferred method for Muslims to settling disputes.

Most Respectfully,

Yet again the point appears to elude you...a common trait of Israeli defenders

George Galloway Tells Israeli General 'The Gangster Terrorist State of Israels' Days Are Numbered

Oh the poor Israelis...alas their only option is to turn up the deafening volume of lies and howl in unison "you hate Jews!!!" pathetic...

You do get flummoxed when your cutting and pasting reveals your lack of knowledge. The recurring social, economic and political disasters that define the Islamist middle East trace their roots back to ancient times and tales. The battle for succession of power after the death of Muhammad (swish) was described for you by Rocco. You should educate yourself to the history of the ideological divide that separates the Sunni and shia. For the past 1,400 years, the Middle East has been defined by Arab-Moslem dictators and despots who have ravaged areas to claim their own mini-caliphates only to be ravaged by the next dictator with greater ambitions. Half of the "rightly guided" caliphs were murdered by their fellow Moslems and all of them fought wars of attrition against the competing tribe.
