Palestinine is a virtual state at the United Nations. That's all there is to it.

Using this definition of virtual: not physically existing as such but made by convention to appear to be so.

Assad says they are Syrian Arabs as did his father. They also have no claim on the land but a closer claim than the Romans with their creation of "Palestina" a derivative of the Philistine people, since the "Philistines" were Israel's long-term enemies.

Where did the Philistines live?
