I do not believe for a minute that an attack on a Catholic/Christian church was intentional. And Israel has pledged investigation into how it happened. War is hell everybody. And unintended bad stuff is inevitable.

Netanyahu says it was not intentional. I do not believe that it was. Israel did hit the rocket launchers Hamas set up at the Greek Orthodox Church several years ago. I'm not finding that such was the case at the Catholic church but I haven't really done a serious search either.

The building would never have been hit if it wasn't on a Target list. I would imagine they would avoid hitting it simply because it was a church.
But it made it to the Target list for a reason.

I pray for the people of Gaza… many of them whether Christian or Muslim are good hard-working people. I’d also say the same for the people of Israel. I think the key issue is Netanyahu and his supporters…. Ron Paul said that Israel created the Hamas movement …others say Hamas was created or funded by Israelis as a bulwork against more secular Palestinian movements.

But Netanyahu and the likud have all the power in Israel, controlling the water supply and power supply in the Palestinian territories. They have defied numerous American administrations, including the Trump administration who in 2017 called for a restraint on Israel building settlements in the west bank, but they actually expanded tons of settlements after Trumps request.
