Gazans Angered by Islamic Jihad Rockets Misfiring Inside Strip

Many in the Gaza Strip have expressed anger following about 120 rockets fired by the Islamic Jihad terror organization at Israel which fell short in the Strip, some of them killing civilians.

In two separate incidents, on Saturday and Sunday, Islamic Jihad terrorists attempted to launch rockets at Israel from the area of the Jabaliya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

The first incident on Saturday ended with a rocket exploding near the Emad Akel Mosque, killing five residents, including four children and a 19-year-old man.

On Sunday, the Islamic Jihad failed in a launch, and a rocket that exploded in the camp, near the Tuba Mosque, resulted in the killing of two residents of the Jasser family.

On social media, residents expressed anger at the Islamic Jihad that chose to shoot from within population concentrations.

The IDF was quick to publish evidence showing that the Islamic Jihad was responsible for the deaths.

In one group, a resident named Anas Sharif, who published a video of one of the misfires, wrote that “one missile from the barrage fell in a populated neighborhood.” He was required to delete the publication. Faras Adnan, who saw the post, wrote “the publishing is not necessary”. Others also joined the demand to delete the incriminating video.

In one group, Ak Hakika (the truth), members mocked the Islamic Jihad.”If (you were successful in the launch) and the Islamic Jihad rocket had not fallen in Jabaliya, then there would have been children in Israel killed.” Another group wrote “Now you understand why Israel needs to destroy this terrorist organization? To protect the children of Gaza!”

This is not new, what is new is that the ritual has been broken,
instead of the usual remarks about "bombing sand dunes",
expressed on Israeli forums and social media, the main
discussion is the quick civil preparation, deployment
of defense systems at the beginning, and use of the
ceasefire demands to strike harsher at top ranks.

And of course, that the laser is yet seen in use...

Don't get me wrong it's not that we're partying here,
yesterday we were bombed while fasting the destruction of Jerusalem,
but it was expected, and that the they will shoot the first rockets on Shabat.

Entire communities were moved in advance and accommodated in Jerusalem,
while a record number of visitors ascended to pray at the Temple Mount.

The Arab terrorists have always been better at killing Arab civilians than killing the innocent Israeli civilians they're "aiming" for.

How Israel shot down false reports on Jabaliya explosion

At about 9 p.m. on Saturday, an explosion in Jabalya in the Gaza Strip killed,
among others, four children.

Joint List MK Ahmed Tibi tweeted photos of three dead boys, with the message, “This is what the US and the UK refer to as ‘Israel’s right to self-defense’: Three or more ‘dangerous terrorists’ killed in Gaza now. Clearly today Israel is a safer place.”

However, as it soon became apparent, the children’s tragic deaths were not at Israel’s hands. One of the hundreds of rockets Palestinian Islamic Jihad launched toward Israelis backfired, falling and exploding in Gaza itself. This time it was fired from a mosque, compounding the war crime of acting from civilian populations onto the war crime of attacking them. Two videos, one from Palestinian sources spread on social media and another grainy, black-and-white one from the IDF, showed what actually took place.

Still, the explosion, like so many other unfortunate occurrences over the years, had the potential to become one that the media and activists would latch onto, with invective about Israel intentionally killing children spreading on social media, and moving up into such claims being made more subtly in the mainstream international press, and then ultimately condemnation by governments. That could turn into pressure on Jerusalem to wrap up the operation, whether it was really ready to do so or not.

But what really happened was the opposite of the bleak scenario that Israelis have come to expect.

GazaTV: Failed Islamic Jihad rocket launch hits populated area on live TV, reporter tries covering it up!

Israelis prepared by deploying defense systems, and accommodating
most targeted communities from the front line in Jerusalem.

Islamic Jihad moved the rocket launchers
into neighborhoods and mosques...

Who is their doctor?

IDF forces and forces from the Yamam counterterrorism unit on Tuesday morning operated in Shechem (Nablus), and killed terrorist Ibrahim al-Nablusi following a fierce firefight.

The IDF has published rare documentation of the firefight from the helmet cameras of the soldiers. In the footage, the soldiers can be seen operating in daylight under heavy fire, as rare documentation from inside the house where the shootout with the terrorists took place.

Border Police Commissioner Maj. Gen. Amir Cohen said that "for many hours, starting on Monday evening, IDF soldiers acted against the wanted terrorist operative who carried out a long series of attacks. This morning they entered with courage, professionalism and determination the heart of the Casbah of the city of Nablus. The Shabak's information was focused and the force prepared a plan that created massive pressure on the structure along with an in-depth analysis of the terrorists' escape routes. During a heavy exchange of fire, the IDF soldiers acted with great resourcefulness and succeeded in their mission."

"Unfortunately, we lost Zili, man's best friend who was also a brave warrior. Border Police forces, the Shabak and the IDF will continue to operate at every point in Judea and Samaria against terrorist operatives to maintain the safety of the citizens of Israel," he concluded.
