According to the indictment, filed by state prosecutors Friday in the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court, the four, all men in the 20s, had organized a pro-IS “study group” that met regularly and planned terror attacks against Israeli.

They face charges of membership in and support for a terror group, and prosecutors are seeking a remand until the conclusion of the proceedings against them.

At least two of the four were caught trying to leave Israel for Turkey in an effort to join IS.<

Mindful, et al,

Yes, this is something of a Arab-Palestinian Youth statement by small groups of people perceived by others to be particularly fashionable, respected by their peers. Some of the Counterintelligence folks have likened the phenomenon to a as a consequence of being immersed for decades in a High Content Jihadist environment that glorifies Islamic Radical ideas and the 20th Century (new age) Islamic Morals of death and destruction to anyone that does not conform to their interpretation of the universe.

(COMMENT)

In 2014, in the months running up to Operation Protective Edge [8 July – 26 August 2014 (7 weeks)] it was not uncommon to see news flashes and glimpses on Arab-Palestinian young adults, enamoured at the thought of going to war against the infidels, making their way to Iraq and Syria to join DAESH or the forces of the Assad Government.

For some, It not so much about the politics in play, but the adventure in going and doing something historically significant.

Many Arab-Palestinians that go to join pro-Assad Syrian Forces and DAESH would have been born in the late 1990's; and represent the Second Generation Arab-Palestinians fully indoctrinated into Jihadist and Asymmetric activity (of post-Olympic Massacre in Munich Palestinian Terrorist). This is a generationally transfer in the hatred of Israelis and Israelis embedded since birth. If you are of a lineage that dates back to 1946 (UNRWA CERI Criteria) then were talking about a full two generations (plus) with the third generation emerging that has never known a Arab-Palestinian in which their culture and people were not engaged in political policies involving the solemn declaration before the United Nations, before God and history, that they will never submit or yield to any power going to Palestine to enforce partition. Two fully generation and the beginning of a third generation that has never known peace and stability and their own leadership that forfeits peace and prosperity in place of terrorism and war.

Most Respectfully,

Fry them.

Sit them down in one of Edison's best chairs and flip the switch. Right smack in front of all the other death row prisoners

Except again, Israel won't play hardball with these asshats

"They have [a] good life," she says of the prisoners. "In the jail they have books, they have television, they have everything. They came skinny, they are going out like this — fat.”

And that's why she's angry. Kimchi's husband was killed in a suicide bombing in 2002, and she doesn't want other attackers living what she considers the high life in jail. “It’s not fair,” she says.

Kimchi wants them put to death. And when I meet her at community center for Israelis whose relatives were killed in terrorist attacks, she's far from alone: She and all of the other volunteers, who are celebrating Kimchi's birthday, say they support the death penalty for terrorists. Every single one of them.

The death penalty is technically legal for such crimes in Israel. But the nation has held only one highly publicized execution — that of Adolf Eichmann, the Nazi SS officer who played a key role in the Holocaust. Eichmann was hanged in 1962.

The vast majority of Palestinians hold a very negative view of ISIS....In nations with significant Muslim populations, much disdain for ISIS

I wonder if there is some overriding propoganda need to conflate the Palestinians with ISIS (like they've done with the Nazi's) and thus further demonize them, or if it is just legitimate concern?

Hard to believe any Palestinians would want to join Isis after what Isis has done & is still doing to the Palestinians. Palestinians joining Isis is a prime example of Palestinian mentality at its very best. Oh well, better the Palestinians get themselves massacred rather than join with the USA & Israel against Isis.

"Some" Palestinians. Not "the" Palestinians.

The term palestinians was first coined in ancient times long before Arab Muslims even remotely existed and had always referred to the Judaic people although its just about impossible to find a single reference to them ever using the term.

It never referred to Arab Muslims until you get to Arafat the Egyptian at the Cairo summit in 1964. Until the PLO there was no distinction between Arab Muslims on this side of the Jordan vs Arab Muslims on that side not more than 100' away.

There is no such thing as a palestinian. They formed a country and now refer to themselves as Israeli's

IMHO the correct term is Arab Muslims in Israel,

If there is IS in Jerusalem, the Israeli military will deal with them accordingly. It all depends on if Israel is willing to do what it takes and quit trying to play nice guy.

Palestinian referred to native Christians and Muslims of Palestine at least in 1921. That is how the British referred to them in formal communications and how the Christians and Muslims referred to themselves in the same formal communications. But, hey don't let the facts confuse you.

How in the hell did something about ISIS and the Palestinians turn into a debate about indignous peoples?

Some of the ancestors of the Palestinian Christians had practiced the Jewish faith, as well as the Roman and other religions before Christianity became the state religion in the Roman (Byzantine) Empire. You don't have much background in the history of the Eastern Roman Empire. Those practicing other religions were banned from Jerusalem unless they converted to Christianity.

Emperor Constantine, at the behest of his wife, implemented laws in about 280 AD that specifically prohibited Jews from living in or even visiting Jerusalem. That's just historical fact.

Speaking of lacking a background in history not only did constantine eventually allow the Judaic people to reenter Jerusalem on certain holidays but the law was lifted completely just a few years later.

Roman Emperor Julian the Apostate, allows the Jews to return to "holy Jerusalem which you have for many years longed to see rebuilt" and to rebuild the Temple.

End Quote

He is called the "Apostate" for a reason. He was the last non-Christian emperor and his rule lasted 5 years. He tried to return the Empire to the pagan religions (Judaism included) but his reign lasted only 5 years and non-Christians were again banned from Jerusalem and were not allowed back in until the Persians conquered Jerusalem in 614 with the help of the Jews and held it until 628. When the Christians recaptured Palestine evicted non-Christians and ruled until the Muslim conquest of Palestine.

Oh thats easy.

Monty made some silly assertion and someone else refuted it. Happens all the time.

Kinda like that last past

PS He was also called Julian the Helene as I recall and was the last of the Constantine emperors.

Shortly after his fall the empire collapsed and christianity stumbled like a street bum and plunged the known world into the dark ages. Ages in which bathing, sanitation personal hygiene education medicine reading writing mathematics and science particularly, fell to the dogma of another petty religion.

The simple reality is while today the entire region falls into Arab Muslim induced chaos, the Judaic people remain an island of stability in the surrounding disaster otherwise known as the Arab Muslim world

errr...yea...ok....it was a small dog under the couch.

Was his name Monty and does he belch hasbara regularly ?

Cause I think I've seen him digging through the trash.

My own dog would never ;--) he's a perfect angel. Found him in the street years ago and his whole attitude is something between "thank you, thank you, thank you" and "what can I do for you". He was definitely an abused and abandoned dog. He melts hearts wherever he goes.

Everyone comments on how obedient and sweet he is.

He'd never offend me by smelling anything like a terrorist supporter. ;--) He'd likely even remind me of the topic and suggest I at least make a token mention.

Could you have him email my dog?
