It is far too late for a second civil war in any identifiable form comparable to the historic first one. In essence America has already fought and lost at least two and possibly many more internal wars similar to the one waged from 1861-65. Those additional civil wars were determinative ones upon which the fate of our civilization was ALREADY decided. They were fought in our schools and universities, in our highest halls of government power; in our Supreme and lower courts, in our legislative bodies—even in political assemblies as insignificant seeming as school board and town council meetings.

These second, third, fourth and possibly fifth civil wars were fought with ideology and culture; philosophy and epistemology—not bullets, bombs or infantry maneuvers—and we (Christian, patriotic, law-abiding, responsible Americans) lost ALL of them. We lost them all not because we were inherently weak or ignorant or tactically inept, but because we never stopped believing that our America could take any number of ideological hits and keep on going; stay afloat no matter how many cultural and philosophical broadsides the enemy fired into her.

We were arrogant, in denial, disillusioned, conceited and thoroughly certain of ourselves for about the past forty years. Still, many of us saw it coming from far, far off—that distant storm of cultural revolution on the horizon, manifested not as meteorological reflections, but as the slowly creeping infiltration into our children's minds of alien beliefs that went against everything we ourselves as Americans believed in. We noticed the devolution of public school curricula, the slow, twisting of a majority of the Americans we personally knew from faithful Christian to doubter to outright denier. And we caught glimpses of the growing hatred for the sanctity of unborn human life and all life, and the prevailing spread of ire against all American and human institutions once sacred to that majority. We saw it all coming but we were told to put our shoulders to the wheel and worry only about our own backyards.

Now? Now, my fellow Americans those once thousand mile away towering dark clouds are overhead and that storm once seemingly so far off has broken and is threatening to blow us away, along with our entire civilization—if the ceaseless lightning doesn't burn us down to ash first. Now, my fellow patriots the very laws and courts we once pledged we'd never defy or break are themselves evil and rotten through and through, as are 99% of the politicians we elected to create, enforce and decide them equally, blindly. Now the very mechanisms America runs on are dripping with acid blood and the gears that make it all go around are out to shred our flesh and splinter our bone.

So no, there will not be a "civil war part 2". We've already lost that one. The coming war will be unconventional, irregular, low intensity and a grueling slog where no one in government power comes to our rescue or fights on our behalf. Rather than brother against brother the coming battles will be race against race, neighbor against neighbor, co-worker against co-worker, husband against wife, son against parents and everyday American against everyday American. Hundreds, perhaps even thousands of small factions will fight each other to the death even as mass troop defections from all branches weaken our military. Chinese, Iranian, North Korean and Venezuelan troops will likely land on our domestic soil and attempt to claim it all in the name of aiding the left, while what's left of our functioning government will refuse to employ weapons of mass destruction against the general American citizenry.

There'll be little if any truth to be had as MSM talking heads make millions off 24/7 coverage of the chaos. In short, it will be Hell on Earth in every sense of the term. That's my prediction, at this point, which could change but likely will not. Really, the best thing each of us will be able to do in the coming onslaught is guard our own backyards—maybe band together with a few other neighborhood families we trust, even though we ought to trust no one. This is what America is heading for.
