Unfortunately, the answer is "yes", unless you have irrefutable proof that they are going to attack us immediately. We are the strongest military in the world and we can beat anyone at any time. First of all, Iran does not have the capability to reach our shores with a nuke. Second of all, if the nuke anyone, they will be nuked in return. Building a nuke is more of a defensive posture than an aggressive one. As such, the answer is "no", if they build a nuke, they are unlikely to use it.

Think of this: Russia has nukes and Putin wants to take over the world (if he could). I addition, he is aggressively attacking another country (Ukraine). Has he used a nuke on anyone?

If these were the reasons for bombing them NOW, why didn't they get bombed during the last 5 presidents (including Reagan, Bush Sr and Jr and Trump in his first term?

Why NOW???? and by the way, didn't Trump say 8 months ago when he bombed them the first time, that their "nuclear capabilities" had been OBLITERATED?. was he lying or simply wrong/incompetent?

I still do not see why he bombed them now! I have yet to see anything from anyone (other than Trump's words) that proves that they were an "immediate" threat to us!!!

On the other side of the coin, I can see politically and to his perceived benefit, that the upcoming midterm elections, him in the Epstein files (especially the files that were blanked out), and his diminishing popularity, were all good reasons to bomb Iran. He is heading down a slope and a war is what he thinks will stop the slide.

After all, what gets someone on your side if you making them think their lives and well-being are at risk, and you are defending them?

Actually they occurred about the same time. Trump gave the speech at 2:30 am which is 10am in Iran, the bombs fell between 10:00 am and 10:45 am
