Is the idea of a centrist ideology disingenuous?

I feel as though it is impossible to define any single policy as being "centrist". I also don't think there is any objective distinguishment between a "moderate left" policy or a "moderate right" policy. What say you?
 
I see they have different buzz words and social issues, but that is just to motivate the electoral masses...But the backroom deals make them no different....

Forget about back room deals. How do YOU define a centrist issue? Give me an example.
 
The global elite control everything, so politics is irrelevant.

Govt. control of vital industry and resources........
i guess that's a compromise, but how can you call it centrist versus it perhaps being called moderate?

It's done in a surreptitious manner..the appearance is hands off, but behind the scenes it is controlled by special deals and govt. funding...
