At least three Chinese companies that receive tax incentives from the State of Arkansas have business ties to Asa Hutchinson III, a Bentonville attorney.

Hutchinson III went on this trip to China with his father, but the governor said he paid his own way.

His son is a managing partner at the Asa Hutchinson Law Group where the governor is listed as a founder of the firm.

The law firm represents TY Garments USA, Hefei Risever Machinery and Dragon Woodland Corporation.

Over the last few years all three companies received tax incentives from the State of Arkansas.

His son has multiple DUI's, and you talk about Hunter, well you should also talk about Asa Hutchinson III.

Probably. The fact that a politicians (right or left) children benefit or profit from them holding a higher political office has almost been a given from the moment this country was born.
It's going to happen. I don't get excited about it.

When my aunt was Governor Biden's(Okiehoma) legal secretary our family had a few increased benefits like get out of jail free cards for me.

Is there a child alive that doesn't benefit/suffer from their parents lot in life?
Politicians are no different. This does not excuse corruption but pretending like it's unusual is disingenuous

I'm talking the China businesses, going on when the trade tariffs.
I'm not familiar with what you're talking about but if he violated the law then he needs to be held accountable

Our goal in 2020 is to have the capacity to fabricate 6,000 tons of heavy steel per year.”

Construction on the 125,000-square-foot plant began in June 2018. It’s the first U.S. plant Risever will build. The company makes steel machine parts for heavy construction equipment. Counter weights, boom arms for excavators and other earth moving equipment are among the products produced by the company, and customers include Caterpillar, Volvo, Terex, and Komatsu.

Gov. Asa Hutchinson, who attended the grand opening, said he’s pleased that Chinese companies have been investing in Arkansas.

“We’re thrilled that the Risever plant is in production,” he said. “It is one of several Chinese companies that are choosing to locate in Arkansas thanks in large part to our skilled workforce and low business costs.”

Risever began a “Made in America” project in 2016, Lai said, and at least 70 communities in five different states were considered before Jonesboro was selected.

So from the limited information in the link, it appears the 3 Chinese companies were setting up shop in Arkansas, bring jobs to the State. Evidently the son represented the companies with the US State Dept to aid in obtaining visas for the companies employees and managers. I can't imagine there would be a fortune in helping cut through State dept red tape.
