Is the GOP on the verge of collapse?

Obviously, there's no way to get you to stop splashing those lies all over the message board. But do you really believe them? You know, since the regime.......or anyone else.........has not presented evidence he was a member of a gang, or beat his wife, or was a human trafficker.

The inhumanity we're showing toward violent illegal alien criminals. Just awful!
Spread the word. We're coming for the rest of them soon. Self-deport, or
a foreign super-max could be in your future.

Generally speaking,
Rage farming works....(negative campaigning)

However currently the DNC is being led by AOC. And her rage farming, while prolific, is ineffective at best.

Basically it's not working.

One look at this board and most threads started currently are about how bad Trump or his personal policies are. However the problem with the plethora of rage farming is that they include massive exaggeration, over simplification, or outright lies. And people are smarter than that.

Two chewing gums....one red and one blue. Same ingredients (except for artificial colors used in each) same flavor and same formula....and we have those two producing the chewing gum tell how bad the other color of chewing gum is with constant stream of "personal testimony" advertising.

And maybe someone should tell AOC that she doesn't understand basic marketing tendencies. (She is failing miserably)
The sources for personal testimony advertising must be believed. They must be genuine or at least believed to be genuine in their claims. (And they are not due to above claimed reasons of hyperbolic claims, oversimplification, and outright lying)...

And yes, most of these "Trump Negative" threads are straight off AOC's "hot sheet" of talking points.
Wanna see tomorrow's sheet?

Your Cult Echo Chamber is amazing.

Who were denied due process. How excited you must have been when the Groper-in-Chief said some parts of the Constitution should be suspended. Now he's followed thru. Making this the most lawless admin in history.

The DNC’s social media strategy in 2025 focuses on leveraging influencers, rapid response to events, platform-specific messaging, countering opposition narratives, building a digital movement, and amplifying advocacy efforts. The ICE raid incident exemplifies this strategy, with DNC-aligned accounts quickly framing it as a Trump failure, using emotional appeals and visuals to drive engagement, and tying it to broader party talking points on democrats.org.
However, the DNC faces challenges, including a digital lag behind Trump, risks of backlash, internal party tensions, and audience fatigue. To strengthen its strategy, the DNC should invest in targeted ads, diversify influencer content, balance messaging, engage moderates, and leverage data analytics. By refining its approach, the DNC can better harness social media to mobilize voters and counter Trump’s policies in the lead-up to future elections

Yep, it's the messaging alright.
Not the fact that all of their policies have been rejected by the majority of people.

Yeah, but wall st bankers are solid with the gop still. I can't blame them after Biden and the progs though.
Not that solid now, with the 100 day drop in GDP, the fiasco, wild ass tariff rollout, the attempt to politicize and take over the Federal Reserve and try to fire FED Chair Jerome Powell. Powell did his part to calm the market after that, by basically telling Donny to fck off, as he wasn't leaving and Presidents cannot fire he head of the FED, just for policy disagreements, so he wasn't going anywhere, and nothing Trump could do about it.

I dunno. The progs were very effective in destroying the cred left leaning dem presidents established. At least with Trump, they also get Bessent.

Who would Kamela brought in? Who would the progs have allowed her to bring in?

Beats me, but if she kept the same as Joe had (that ran the country for Joe, for the better part of 4 years) we would be better off, and still leader of the free world, both in support of Democracy and world economics. If she had stocked the White House with the "California Crowd", dumping the centrists, we would be fcked possibly worse than with Trump, and that is not to forget, we are super-f#cked with Trump, but at least he will be gone 3 years, 265 days or less. I read some headline of her coming out of hiding and give a speech in the last couple of days. I didn't read the article or speech, as I really think she should shut up and go away.

If it weren't for Bessent and Mnuchin before him I'd be more fearful of Trump than Harris. But I don't think she had the gravis to tell the progs to sit down, which Slick did. Obama did so to, with economic issues.

Half the country is simply fucking nuts and has no clue as to economic reality. We still have a gop that apparently thinks deficits are not an issue. Of course Maga has no clue that TRUMP IS INCREASING SPENDING. Bernie thinks paying people to stay home is a great idea.

Rage farming is associated with MAGA.
ONLY Democrats say that.

But truthfully both sides engage in the practice.

However, the Republicans teach economic theory and "common sense" which about half the time is propaganda. Which gives credibility to their rage farming and propaganda. (More effective)

Which I why I've said before that while AOC may be the author of the current DNC marketing strategy, it's not working or resonating with informed voters. Sure, it's prolific....but ineffectual. Especially when Trump is doing precisely what he said while on the campaign trail at a breakneck speed. No ulterior goals other than campaign promises. No secret agenda....which is unique for a politician. Usually they promise the moon but instead deliver a digital photograph of the moon.

Basically the DNC is just 100% negative and offering zero solutions. (Thinking voters DO notice the difference)
The current fiscal, international, and domestic problems are very much attributed to the Democrats while Republicans try to fix these problems. And those problems get pasted to Democrats as they do not have or offer solutions other than "impeach Trump" or other nefarious ways of removing him from office. (Which horrified 80% of Americans...the other 20% are illegal aliens who come from a Muslim country)

The Democrats need something other than outrageous lies and name calling if they wish to win any elections in the future.

Real and true statistics show a steady trend towards conservatism by voters. Stuffed Ballot boxes aren't going to work in the future. (Fake polling has been solidly and soundly proven....not just poor mathematics...but deliberate misstatements to assist with fundraising)

So....
Solutions instead of blame shifting?

The GOP is the conventional reference to the Repub party but we all know at this point in time it's the party of trump. He's pulling all the strings and has been for years now. If you challenge him or what he's doing in a meaningful way you get banished from the party. Open dissent is a political death wish for congressional Repubs.

So, with all the focus on his plunge in the polls on a broad array of issues something else needs to be explored. Namely, how popular were GOP positions on consequential issues prior to trump's freefall on the economy, immigration, and DOGE?

Not very as it turns out.

trump got elected by capitalizing on the electoral reality of the sitting prez getting blamed for the country's ills. Primary among them being inflation. Inflation that's about to reignite when the full impact of the tariffs enters the economy's bloodstream.

In the next election cycle, and ones beyond that, with trump's influence waning, what issues will support Repub candidates seeing as their positions on the environment, access to abortions, gun control, saving the social safety net, always have been and will remain unpopular? Unless they change course and move to the center that is. They've gotten a lot of mileage over ginned up wedge issues like CRT in the past. But how long can that be sustained?

The GOP ceased to exist ten years ago.
