It's amazing. The same party that bashed Romney for not talking about welfare to the NAACP.
I don't remember any political party bashing Romney for that.
Romney talked about jobs and the economy when he addressed the group and the left claimed those issues weren't what concerned them.
Who is this "the left" you speak of?
I realize that it's easier to convince yourself of these things when you paint half the country with a single brush stroke, but it's an example of intellectual laziness.
I'm a member of "the left" and no one speaks for me but
me.
It's the left who believes in affirmative action. They don't think minorities are capable of making it on their own, so they feel they need to help.
You see, here's another problem. The first half of your statement is correct - then you literally pull some shit out of thin air as what "the left"
really thinks.
Is it so hard to make an argument without resorting to nonsense like claiming to know what other people think?
It's the left that is largely responsible for the break down of minority families and mainly because government has strived to take the place of fathers, and now mothers when it comes to raising kids.
How has the government "strived" to take the place of fathers?
The left thinks people need to be taken care of from cradle to grave. They feel they are superior and better suited to run people's lives.
Again, what magical powers do you have that you know what "the left" thinks and feels?
Do you not see how ridiculous that is?
It's sad that so many people have adopted the entitlement mentality pushed by the left for so long. Now that is what keep the liberals in power.
Again, you're claiming that you know what other people are thinking.
It's also the left that groups people, then insists that each group needs to be addressed separately, as if all the people in the group think alike.
Seeing as how you've spent this entire post grouping "the left" together, this might be the most ironic statement I've read today.
That is why they talk about welfare to minorities and about amnesty and welfare reform to Hispanics. I think they'd be shocked if they could understand that people are individuals first and not merely one in a group of people who all think alike.
Priceless.
I think you might be shocked to find out that members of "the left" are also individuals first, and not merely one in a group of people who all think alike.
The notion that you have to have separate speeches for each group is racist.
Do you think that Romney gave the same speeches, regardless of who he was speaking to?
All the libs have done is attempt to dumb down the population and give enough freebies that people are actually voting for their own interests and will chose the politician who they think will come through with more. They are still waiting for that Obama money.
Again, claiming that you know what other people are thinking and feeling negates any other point you're trying to make.
I understand, it's easy and it makes you feel better about yourself. But it's intellectually lazy, and it makes you look like a child.
