After the Uvalde massacre, Obama, in a Twitter tweet, said this >> "As we grieve the children of Uvalde today, we should take time to recognize that two years have passed since the murder of George Floyd under the knee of a police officer. His killing stays with us all to this day, especially those who loved him."
1. George Floyd was not murdered. The arresting officer Derek Chauvin did his job properly, according to police protocol, and the whole thing was twisted into a false narrative by Dr. Roger Mitchell, who intimidated and coerced the Hennepin County Medical Examiner Dr. Andrew Baker, into changing critical conclusory language in his autopsy report on the death of George Floyd, making it appear that Floyd was murdered. That has been proven to be FALSE.
2. Obama continued with calls for criminal justice reform, and promoted a “reimagining policing pledge” in additional tweets.
3. This is just the latest example of Obama trash-talking police. Back in 2014, at a Congressional Black Caucus dinner, Obama told the audience that the mistrust of law enforcement that was exposed after the fatal police shooting in Ferguson, Missouri, has a corrosive effect on all of America, not just on black communities. It looks like the mistrust of law enforcement comes from exactly this kind of talk that Obama has been engaging in for years. It is just this kind of talk (together with ordering mayors to allow rioting, and threatening mayors with DOJ lawsuits) that has riled up black communities all across America, and has produced riots.
4. Obama's racist anti-police rhetoric has also produced kangaroo court railroadings of innocent police, with court convictions against them in some cases (ex. Derek Chauvin, Michael Slager). This, in turn has produced police hesitancy to act when crimes are being committed, as appears to possibly be the case in the Ulvalde massacre. Subsequent investigation of this will probably turn up more knowledge, but so far, this does seem to be at work in a scenario where a nutjob with a gun went into a school, and police by their own admission, did nothing for an hour, while this crazy killer was inside the school.
