As nauseating as it is for this President to be buying votes with our money, why [the fuck] do they justify it with describing it as "...the forgiveness they deserve"?

In what way do these people "deserve" to not have to repay the loans that they took, after having wasted the money on a college education that apparently didn't work? They DON'T "deserve" loan forgiveness. It is a gift of money that is being stolen from others - people who are forced to pay taxes.

It is analogous to Democrats constantly speaking of union members as "hard-working Americans." It is a generalization that serves no purpose other than to patronize a group whose favor they hope to curry.

Plus, they are also exaggerating the “burden“ of student loans. The average debt is around $30k, less than a car loan, and amounts to a few hundred dollars of month. We don’t hear people crying over the burden of a car loan.

And as far as the large debt that law students undertake, their earning potential is phenomenal.
