Is NATO a Viable Military Organization?

Pepe Escobar's review of the book by an American military expert on the revolution in military affairs: the technological revolution that began in the USSR in the 1970s led to the loss of hegemony by the West, and for the first time Russian hypersonic and military nuclear engines brought the Russian Federation into the lead

"Two US officials confirm the test of Russian anti-satellite weapons over the weekend, and the US Space Command says it is tracking the resulting space debris. The U.S. State Department is expected to issue a statement."
It is understandable why Americans are worried about Russia's successfully tested anti-satellite weapons.

After losing the arms race to Russia and China on Earth, the United States have of the idea-fix to place weapons, including nuclear weapons, in space. This is now their only chance to retain the championship

The US State Department said that Russia "recklessly" conducted a test of anti-satellite weapons.
And earlier, when NATO officially declared space the sphere of its military operations, you see, it was not reckless... "It is completely different!" (c)
