Musk earlier Monday in a tweet directed at Democratic Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly wrote, “You are a traitor,” after the senator posted about a visit he made to Ukraine over the weekend.

“Everyone wants this war to end, but any agreement has to protect Ukraine’s security and can’t be a giveaway to Putin,” Kelly had written, referring to Russian leader Vladimir Putin, who ordered his nation’s invasion of Ukraine three years ago.

Kelly, who is a former U.S. Navy pilot and NASA astronaut, fired back at Musk’s attack.

“Traitor?” Kelly wrote. “Elon, if you don’t understand that defending freedom is a basic tenet of what makes America great and keeps us safe, maybe you should leave it to those of us who do.”

Kelly just came back from a trip to Ukraine. He's made a number of comments based on what he saw and Ukrainians he spoke to.

Kelly said in his initial post Sunday that his trip over the weekend to the war-torn country, where he met with military members, nurses and others, had reaffirmed his commitment to not give up on the Ukrainian people. He added that any peace deal with Russia “has to protect Ukraine’s security and can’t be a giveaway” to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

I turned on Late Night TV on ABC last night, (Jimmy Kibbel?) the one that was off the air for a week, just to see how the show was going now and who did he have on but Mark Kelly and they were going on giggling to each other about the silliness of how the GOP are making such a big deal about ex-military and congressmen like him calling for an insurrection against the federal government, after, you know, spending years and arresting and prosecuting thousands of innocent people for the very same thing just because they were near the Capitol on J6.

The hypocrisy of the Left is literally unbounded.

When it was J6, it was a sacred duty to prosecute these people to the full letter of the law (they drove one guy to suicide) for daring to even ask about much less question how Joe Biden was elected, but now that ex-military officers working in government are literally CALLING for an insurrection based on non-existent orders that they cannot even name, it is all just so much nonsense?

I do not consider Mark Kelly to be a traitor. Senator Mark Kelly emerges as a potential Democratic contender for the 2028 presidential election.

If he were to adopt a stance of victim hood similar to that of Trump, he could potentially garner the Democratic vote and sufficient support from independents to achieve victory.
