Is It Treason?

You whore for a convicted felon and adjudicated rapist who attempted a coup and wipes his ass with the COTUS, bigrube1775.

Keep lying that you're an American, old man.
Dude you do realize fabricated convictions do get overturned in a real court?

I believe in low taxes, strong defense and limited government. I voted for Romney and have always voted Republican for governor.

You whore for an orange liar and a grifter, old man.

I know that confuses you. That's because your cognitive abilities are worse than Biden.
Now I get what you are saying. You will vote against what you believe in.

The raid was to frame him and it has backfired,
The raid was to remove classified documents from the home of a person who does not have the right to view or keep classified documents.

A president has that right. Ask the SCOTUS.

It is treason for Independentthinker to tell lies about the President in order to aid and abet our enemies,.
what is the lie? are you saying Biden is mentally sound and not senile? Did you see the debate? No one who saw that could possibly conclude that Joe is mentally sound. WTF is wrong with you?

Ex presidents have the right to retain documents, ex vice presidents do not. you have no idea what you are shooting your mouth off about.

Yes and here comes the slap down. You have no idea about anything

The Presidential Records Act, or PRA, governs the maintenance of presidential records. It was passed in 1978, after former President Richard Nixon sought to destroy recordings made in the White House that documented activities related to the Watergate scandal, David S. Ferriero, archivist of the United States who is in charge of NARA, explained in a 2017 publication for the National Archives.

When a president leaves office, the archivist takes custody of the records from that administration and is responsible for their preservation and for providing access to the public, according to a Congressional Research Service report.

you conveniently omitted the part that says a president can declassify any classified document whenever he deems it necessary. propaganda only works when it is based on a little truth. you fail.

quote your source otherwise the PRA covers presidents. Unless you believe Hillary was president.
OF COURSE SHE WAS NOT PRESIDENT BUT SHE ILLEGALLY HELD AND DESTROYED CLASSIFIED DATA STORED ILLEGALLY ON HER PERSONAL SERVER (WHICH IS ALSO ILLEGAL)

Oh that just republicans who said that they were classified. It was never proven but yes it was a story circulated by republicans.

The top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, Dianne Feinstein, had a similar response, calling the story "nothing new."

"None of the emails that are alleged to contain classified information were written by Secretary Clinton. The question of whether she received emails with classified information has nothing to do with any action taken by Secretary Clinton," she said. "Additionally, none of the emails that were sent to Secretary Clinton were marked as including classified information, a requirement when such information is transmitted."

Still destroying classified documents
So yeah republicans made a story of it but could not prove anything. Yet with Trump there is proof of keeping classified documents.

Still this is now about Trump and classified documents and him keeping them in his home after leaving presidency.

Still she was investigated

FBI Director James Comey on July 5 announced that although Clinton and her staff were “extremely careless” in handling classified information, the FBI did not find evidence that their actions were intentional. He declined to pursue criminal charges.

Taking classified documents home and refusing to return them when requested is intentional

that is the difference between Clinton and Trump

You are not being truthful. In the first place, whether classified or not, Trump was breaking the law and holding and lying about having the documents.

Says who?

Presidential Records Act (PRA) of 1978

The Presidential Records Act (PRA) of 1978, 44 U.S.C. ß2201-2209, governs the official records of Presidents and Vice Presidents that were created or received after January 20, 1981 (i.e., beginning with the Reagan Administration). The PRA changed the legal ownership of the official records of the President from private to public, and established a new statutory structure under which Presidents, and subsequently NARA, must manage the records of their Administrations. The PRA was amended in 2014, which established several new provisions.

Specifically, the PRA:

  • Establishes public ownership of all Presidential records and defines the term Presidential records.

Nixon and now Trump want to hide things.

As soon as Trump announced he was running the Biden administration worked with the NARA to start the document case. They are just as corrupt as any other agency. What part of that don't you get?

what part of the law do you not get. Once Trump leaves office the records are government property or public records. His presidency is over on a certain date. Especially important if he lost the election.

Running for office is irrelevant as its clear that the presidency term is over on a specific date. IF he wants another term then he runs for office.

The Presidential Records Act (PRA) of 1978, 44 U.S.C. §§ 22012209,[3] is an Act of the United States Congress governing the official records of Presidents and Vice Presidents created or received after January 20, 1981, and mandating the preservation of all presidential records. Enacted November 4, 1978,[4] the PRA changed the legal ownership of the President's official records from private to public,
