Well, we'll have to wait and see. It's not common for an actor to play the role of "Batman," so my gut says, no, it's not common for an actor to receive a dying send-off such as the one pictured in the OP.

I don't recall something similar being done when or George Reeve or Chris Reeve died. But then the character they played didn't have a "signal" that was part of the "story" associated with them.
 
He played a popular character and avoided controversy in his private life, thus was well liked by many. That's not very common any more.
