He's retired now but it seems that he could be indicted for treason based on statements he made while in uniform. Hard to believe an Army general would make statements that could be interpreted as advocating the violent overthrow of the government but you could make a case that it was his intent.

Doesn't matter all that much actually. As a private citizen Milley is entitled to his own opinions however malicious an dishonest those are. Trump isn't going to take revenge on political opponents but Milley won't have any power as I cannot imagine Trump would put him in any position in his admnistration.
