Is Gavin Newsom the best governor in California history?

From your link:

The point of the article seems to be that politicians are getting blamed for things they have no control over, as it asks here :

Are you, as a conservative, in favor of government telling landlords how much they can charge for rent?

As for the groceries, what's that all about? Are California grocery stores gouging their customers compared to other states? I would think that California has very strict anti-gouging laws. Part of those regulations that conservatives always say they hate so much.

Basically your link is saying don't blame the politicians for the lower quality of life, because the things they cite as making life worse are things the politicians can't control, rent and groceries.
yea dont blame the powers that be synth, they cant control anything...... and im such a conservative i voted for clinton twice.....

Worlds 4th largest economy and most populous with the most millionaires and billionaires? It's horrible here
what part of cal do you supposedly live in?...and most populous is their biggest problem...to many people...

Gavin Newsom’s Empire of Fraud

California has lost at least $180 billion to fraud, according to officials and experts.

California is a cash machine. The state collects some of the country’s highest income, business, and fuel taxes, and now spends more than $300 billion per year. And yet, everywhere you look, California seems to be falling apart.

The roads are crumbling. Mismanaged wildfires have turned neighborhoods into ash. Drug addiction and homelessness have metastasized, turning parts of Los Angeles and San Francisco into no-go zones. And the cost-of-living crisis is pricing middle-class taxpayers out of basic necessities like groceries and gas, even as the state spends billions on welfare programs that never seem to lift anyone out of poverty.

more than anywhere else. Number one in people leaving. Number one in income inequality. Why do they have any income inequality at all if democrat policies are so great? The blue team has owned the government for years.

Maybe because inequality isn't a state but national issue?

I know it's hard, but THINK

  • National Inequality: Economic inequality has surged to historic highs, with the top 1% accumulating 1,000 times more wealth than the bottom 20% over the last three decades. In 2022, the top 10% of households owned roughly 70% of the nation’s wealth.

Regional Disparities:
Recent studies show that inequality is accelerating in different ways across the U.S.:
  • Coastal states have seen tech wealth boom, raising income, but often increasing the cost of living and widening the gap between high- and low-income earners.

  • The South and Northeastern cities often face higher levels of inequality, while the Upper Midwest has shown more relatively equal distribution, though many industrial cities in that region have seen declining economic standing.

Causes for Continued Disparity:
  • Failure of Pay to Keep Pace: Typical worker pay has not kept up with economy-wide productivity growth.

  • Asset Ownership: The wealth gap is driven by unequal ownership of key assets, such as stocks and real estate.

  • Policy Focus: While safety nets exist, many argue that systemic changes in tax policy and economic structure are needed to reverse these trends.

Democrats are in total control in California. They can do whatever they want. Their policies made income inequality, homelessness, and social injustice worse there than anywhere else.
