Is Gavin Newsom the best governor in California history?

They want to perpetuate this false narrative that California has turned into a shithole under Democratic leadership. But every one of their "gotchas" turn out to be bullshit, so it's pretty funny.
It’s pretty funny that you flail your Pom Poms for failed leftist clowns like Newsom.

Harry, I've been reading you ***** and moan about California since I joined this board 16 years ago.

Why haven't you moved if it's so bad and you hate it so much? A lot of fellow wingnuts in Arizona.

Or, you could do what thousands do: move to Texas, live there for a year until you really hate it, then move back to California! 🙂
It’s expensive to move out of newsom’istan. You can’t even find a u- haul and you’re taxed for leaving,

synth your problem is you are another who thinks California is just great because they have a good economy.....newsome had little to do with it since that economy has always been there long before him...but something you dont know about is how the quality of life has gone down hill since the turn of the century...yea its subjective synth....

No, he's a winner. Where are you getting "failed"?

You obviously didn't look at all any of the first five or six posts I made in this thread that talk about all the good things he has done as California governor.

Why would anyone bother with your pointless cutting and pasting from Twitter?

Your girlfriend, Gavin, is as big a failure as Tampon Timmy.

As concerns about rampant fraud continue to grow nationwide, particularly in California, federal authorities announced the guilty plea of a man charged in a scheme to defraud taxpayers out of hundreds of millions of dollars.

He sure has been on a roll. California just passed Japan as the 4th largest economy, and that all happened under him.

Have to wonder how much of that are totally fraudulent businesses that make their money from the Federal government.

That's funny, I just looked at uhaul in Los Angeles and there are plenty.

You lie so effortlessly, so easily.

That’s funny. But without trying to reserve a u- haul, you wouldn’t know about supply.

You lie because it’s a habit.

From your link:

For the most part, residents are satisfied with their neighborhoods, with race relations, with public safety and with healthcare – the services that local governments offer or supplement.

What residents are unhappy with is their rent and the cost of goods and services (and the quality of their schools, too, but that’s a matter for another day).

Imagine, then, that you’re Mayor Bass. Your approval rating has seemingly dropped and your constituents are unhappy because their rent is too high and groceries are overly expensive.

The point of the article seems to be that politicians are getting blamed for things they have no control over, as it asks here :

How should officeholders react when their constituents are angry at them for problems that they didn’t create and can’t solve?

Are you, as a conservative, in favor of government telling landlords how much they can charge for rent?

As for the groceries, what's that all about? Are California grocery stores gouging their customers compared to other states? I would think that California has very strict anti-gouging laws. Part of those regulations that conservatives always say they hate so much.

Basically your link is saying don't blame the politicians for the lower quality of life, because the things they cite as making life worse are things the politicians can't control, rent and groceries.

Basically, you’re making excuses for the failed policies of Newsom and the democrat hacks.
