I think Alan Rickman helped make Harry Potter the classic it was.

It's one of the best Christmas movies, but not the greatest. And I'm a huge Willis fan.

Didn't they make a sequel or two of that movie?

I'm sure I have it somewhere and have caught bits and pieces, but I don't
think I ever sat down to really watch the whole movie straight through.

It's a Christmas movie. ;)

Yes, "Die Hard" is widely considered a Christmas movie due to its setting, themes of family and reconciliation, and the presence of Christmas elements throughout the film.

Reasons Why "Die Hard" is Considered a Christmas Movie

  1. Christmas Setting: The film takes place on Christmas Eve, with the main character, John McClane, attempting to reunite with his estranged wife during a holiday party at Nakatomi Plaza. This festive backdrop is integral to the plot.

I always considered it a romantic movie.

What other guy would run through broken glass barefoot to save the woman he loves?

As I like to say - "it is as advertised".
It is supposed to be a thriller/action movie - and it was. In spades.
Great movie of all time?... well of course not.
