Is Del male...or female?

I always thought Del was a particularly bitchy male.

But I've heard other posters refer to him..as "her".

So now I am confused. I don't particularly care, but when I make fun of him, or her, I always pause over the pronoun. I hate that. It disrupts my groove.

Based on the old song "The Farmer in the del"...he is either a woman or a gay man.

I don't use third person pronouns. I either discuss the topic, or if I have something to say to about the poster, You comes in very handy

Does this mean I have to use a non-gender pronoun?
I hate using "it" for humans. Unless I mean to imply they are non-human.

Maybe "they" and "them"? That will make it look like Del has multiple personalities...

Which he..or she...might have....

That takes much more energy than I'm willing to expend.

I think I will just jump between "he" and "she".

some of us are quite upset, actually.

the majority still doesn't give flying fuck, which is good, and we ALL enjoy a good round of te deum in 5 part harmony.

He used to be male until he went to Cuba for a "vacation."
