I don't think the powers that be want any of this closely looked at. It would very likely lead to an epiphany here about how power is obtained and used and by who. This was most likely an intelligence operation, probably MI6, the Mossad and the CIA to compromise important figures and guarantee compliance. This has been going on for decades by the FBI and was polished to perfection in the years after WW2 by American, British, and USSR spook groups. I think most of us suspect that things are not quite what CNN tells us but feel powerless to challenge the narrative, Congress is just a bunch of crisis actors, they are very much enslaved in this system, or they don't get to play. Robert Maxwell pimped Epstein into the game, and they ended up in the same situation, suspicious death. His daughter was recruited and is in prison now awaiting her disposition. Why do they do this? “She needs to resign,” wrote Laura Loomer, a Trump ally who has suggested, without evidence, that the department had suppressed evidence that Mr. Epstein was murdered. “The American people and MAGA base will not tolerate being lied to.”
Devotees of the trump Show are not capable of villainizing the star. So they are directing their ire at the supporting cast. A collection of expendable nitwits and misfits who do not enjoy the magical golden dome of protection keeping Don from suffering the consequences of his actions.
He says stop talking about the mysterious Epstein files so that they must. After all, today's bread and circuses includes ever shifting tariff threats, climate change denial, and the unwarranted occupation of a major US city by federal agents. What fun.

It's to be expected that a bad episode comes along once in a while. The important thing is to focus on keeping the minions entertained going forward. This hiccup will quickly be excused and forgotten. Perhaps the regime can blame Biden.
Cuz let's be real here. This is nothing compared to the plot to steal the 2020 election. Look how quickly they got over that.
