Is a meme "commentary"?

I'd ask the mod/mods (that have removed some of mine) this question but I don't know who they are....Can't ask questions of a question mark notice. :dunno:

If I post a meme it is in fact my commentary.

This one has been removed twice.

The meme speaks for itself.
Somebody is getting a little heavy handed.

Jiminy crickets.

At first you only had to have three sentences.

But that was too much work thinking that much.

Then it got knocked down to two sentences.

Which also seems to still be too much thinking, given the number of closed threads.

So now we wanna dumb the topicals down to memes?

Personally, I think the Youtube and TikTok clips shouldn't be considered a source.

Hardly anyone ever even provides any info about what the dumb video is even about, and often it's like a thirty minute video that the two sentence minimum doesn't even attempt to describe. So you have to flip through it to kind of guess what the OP is trying to say. Pft. Screw that.

But I think most times it's just an attempt to push traffic to their favorite social media channels/content creators in this day and age of very shallow digital ''activism.''

Total waste of readers' time...

Relax, Nancy, he just asked a question.

Oh, you thought I was rabidly watering at the mouth with my eyes bulging out when I shared my thought on that?

No, that's not really my style. I was just opining.

I assumed he was talking about an OP. Which he clarified that he was not.

The meme speaks for itself.

In most cases, the use of memes is pointless and stupid. The meme in the OP being a case in point. Perfect example.

Low information voters love memes. They don’t have to think or express an idea.

Better than seeing your long winded pointless sanctimonious drivel.

If the meme is related to the thread topic, yes, it's allowed in Zone 2. If it's meant to troll the thread topic, NO!

OK, so using the example in the OP, how is that trolling when responding to a leftist OP?

Why is it any different than posting a :lame2: emoji?

The world wonders

It would be a trolling response in Zones 1 and 2. If the thread is what we call a "bait thread", report it!
