Peace through strength. These places only respect power.

Iran called on U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday to force Israel to cease fire as the only way to end the four-day-old aerial war

Sources told Reuters that Tehran had asked Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman to press Trump to use his influence on Israel to agree to an immediate ceasefire. In return, Iran would show flexibility in nuclear negotiations, said the two Iranian and three regional sources.

I bet they are. Iran's air defenses were down the night Israel attacked. Iran never saw it coming.

Israel intended to do more, take out the Ayatollah, and Trump had to restrain them.

Israel was going for a total take-down.

As it is, Iran lost more than 20 of its top science and military command, they lost much of their enrichment facility and lost about 400 people.

As the Israelis say: Iran got its Baklava cleaned.

Iran is hurting for money, missiles and much more. Israel has them on the ropes. Trump has Iran by the short hairs. Trump is moving strategic forces into the region.

Trump gave Iran a 60 day window to work things out. Iran called Trump's bluff and let the 60 days expire.

Israel blew them a new mudhole on the 61st day.

In many ways Israel has become the conscience of the West. They aren't nodding their heads and giving in to the Axis of China, Russia, N Korea and Iran. Their intelligence agencies have to be taking stock about the rapid shift in Europe and in some corners of North America and asking themselves, "is this good for global peace going forward"?

Iran can't have a nuke. They are trying the same approach China, EU and Canada are taking on trade, trying to drag it out.

Israel recognized this and came to the conclusion it is best to strike their nuclear ambitions and at the very least slow it down than to continue to allow them to progress closer to a nuke.

We need to look at ourselves and what world we want to leave our next of kin. Is it a better one for civilization and human freedoms or a far worse one based on warped ideology?

It's like Hamas who is funded by Iran. They have sworn their very lives to destroy Israel and the US, so do they give them a reprieve to regroup and continue their fight?

Seems pretty stupid to me.
Right now Israel is going to the source.

Iran be like:

So is this where Israel starts taking out infrastructure?
Of course the Iraqis could have done it themselves to get her to STFU. ;)
1. The US can give Israel "bunker buster" bombs to kill the nuclear program.
2. Israel can also bomb the oil infrastructure to hurt Iran's revenue.
3. I hope Iran figures out that replacing the Ayatollah with a Pahlavi is in their best long term interest.

Warfare 101, if you're going to conduct an offensive air attack on somebody, the 1st thing you do is knock out their commmunications and then their air defenses. We taught NATO and our allies about that back in the 1980s, and that is why Desert Storm went off like clockwork. I have no doubt that Iran's air defenses were down because they were disabled or destroyed.

I bet we all can agree that Iran cannot be trusted.
You can only be judged by what you say and what you do

Iran has repeatedly said that their aim is the destruction of Israel and the US, and all their actions have shown they have paid a small fortune of their own to do just that as they spread terrorism throughout the Middle East.

The hits keep coming....

Actually, the story I got was that Iran's air defenses were down because they were under peace talks with the USA, and countries have come to expect that the USA never strikes during peace talks, in fact, they use peace talks to buy time.

Iran never expected to be hit while the peace talks were on-going.
